Amarsanaa, Chimmeddorj
( Amra ) is the inspiration behind the Asian Nomads
tour operator, the company he founded in 2001.
A true cosmopolitan, Amra combines a deep respect for
Mongolian traditions with a genuine open-mindedness
towards other cultures. Possessing a keen interest in
all things Mongolian, he has toured and trekked the
furthest reaches of the country. A love of travel (and
some good fortune) has also taken him across the world.
These experiences together have provided Amra with a
rare sense of perspective and depth of understanding
into his own country, and a vision of how to present
Mongolia to an outside audience. Amra takes a very personal
interest in each and every trip to ensure that your

Enkhsanaa ( Sani )
has a good appreciation of how things work throughout
Mongolia and abroad. Using his outdoor skills in combination
with his management professionalism, Sani helps to create
programs that will provide you with the most satisfying
use of your precious time. Whenever the opportunity
allows, nothing will stop him from getting outdoors
to guide trips and "conduct more research".
However his special charm would naturally stand him
in good stead when looking after travel arrangements.
Baljinnyam Avirmed (
Balja ) is a wife of Amra and they have a boy Egii,
6 years old.
She is a medical doctor, specialized in the field of
Rehabilitation Medicine. She works as an office manager
in Asian Nomads during the high season, trains our guide
for the first aid service and sometimes join with adventures
tour groups. Her main job is as a Rehabilitation Lecturer
at Health Sciences University of Mongolia and the head
of Mongolian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation
Medicine.
