Ulaanbaatar literally means "Red hero" the capital of Mongolia. It’s in the ancient Human rock valley as well as several streams and Tuul River valley and at the foot Bogd Khan mountain itself considered the oldest or earliest national park of old time Mongolia. After 5 different names and 25 some movements originally a nomadic Buddhist center, it became a permanent site in the late 17th century. 10:00 Meet guide and driver

10:20 Escort to Zaisan hill, the southern mount hill on the foot of Bogd khaan sacret mountain, the first Mongolian protected national park. From here we gaze city from the top to summarize city overlaying structure.

11:30 Tour to Gandan monastery, considered the old time city center, situated on lower hill top, the one of three earliest Mongolian Buddhist institution. The monastery name contains meaning of Great Place of Complete Joy. We visit temples and pay respect to chanting lamas therefore to purify souls by juniper scented incense, visit lama’s public office, mingle with local prayers and, find the secret of magical single tree people whispered their wishes and feed birds and circle the stupas. Curious shopping at religious markets can do thing. Mostly we discover 26 m Avalokiteśvara buddha, tallest indoor statue in the world.

12:30 Tour to Sukhbaatar square, each 400 m rectangular national square witnesses to celebrations, anniversaries, weddings, dating, exhibitions, concerts, openings, demonstrations etc. We picture the great Khaans statues in front façade of the Mongolian government house and spot ourself right on top of the “The city central zero point” from where all distances are measured.

13:00 Tour to National Museum of Mongolia for an excellent overview of country’s background. The museum is nation's largest museum and holds a collection of over 57,000 objects relating to Central Asian history and the history of Mongolia from prehistory to the end of the 20th century, with a portion of the collected artifacts on display in ten exhibition halls. One collection has significant displays of the traditional dress of various Mongolian ethnic groups, keep your eye out for a Star Wars influence.

14:00 Lunch at Modern Nomads Mongolian Restaurant, offers healthy traditional Mongolian cuisine preparing them by combining modern technology and recipe.

15:00 Tour to “National brand” the cashmere factory store where commission free tagged fresh products in various options. Stronger and warmer than anything found on other goats sheep camel and yak around the world, these wool brings with it not just the livelihoods of the animals who grow it, but also the people the nomads who herd them.

17:30 Show the performance of National Folklore ensemble. No matter what language you speak, music can speak through your heart. An hour will provide you positive energy which will last as one in lifetime experience.

19:30 End the trip.

If you would like to book this trip, please send us your request. A deposit of 20% of the total tour price is required to book and confirm this trip. The balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to departure.

You should pay the balance to us by wire transfer. Usually it takes 2-3 working days until payment reach in our account. Western Union is the fastest way to pay us. We can get your payment in a few minutes once you send the money. Cash payment is only accepted in exceptional cases.

You will stay in a good 4-star hotel in Ulaanbaatar. An upgrade is possible on request! During the excursion in the countryside, you will stay in Tourist Ger camps. Tourist Camp is a kind of hotel that serves customers with Ger (Yurt) instead of a hotel room and always located at the best viewing spot. It’s the most popular accommodation type for a countryside trip in Mongolia that consists of 30-40 Gers (Mongolian traditional yurt), a restaurant and some entertainment facilities. Most visitors happy to stay in Ger, which provide an authentic taste of Mongolian culture and adventure, their most enjoyable experience in Mongolia. During your trip in Mongolia, you will be served mainly European dishes and sometimes authentic Mongolian foods. Lunch and dinner consist of 3-4 courses (soup and/or salad, main course, dessert) and bottled water. If you require special meals due to religious, medical limitation and vegetarian food, please inform us so that arrangements can be made in advance.

Car: A good car is an important part of your comfort trip in Mongolia. There will be a good 4×4 car for this trip based on the number of people in your group.

Road: The asphalted roads are 40% and the unpaved roads are 60%. During the trip, it takes approximately 2-6 hours driving (80-280km) from one to next destination depending on road and weather condition on each driving day. But it is not nonstop drive! We can take a short stop frequently everywhere along the road for photographs, toilets, stretch and meet with local nomads.

Hiking boots and sandals, waterproof jacket, raincoat, umbrella, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, comfortable shoe, insect repellent, sunscreen, and prescription medication (if required). Gear: Camera, binoculars, flashlight and travel lamp. Some Tourist camps do not have 24-hour electricity. It is therefore recommended to bring your own travel lamp!
